SIGNALLING: NETWORK RAIL (K)

The photographs in this gallery are all by the author unless otherwise stated. The Signal Box pictures are intended to be a record of architectural features, hence front, back and side views when possible. All photographs have either been taken whilst on duty at the site concerned, from public areas (including from moving passenger trains) or with the permission and/or cooperation of the railway owner.

With the rapid decline of the number of operational Network Rail signal boxes, redundant and demolished signal boxes are also included on this page - the term 'disused' or 'redundant' means that the box is no longer used for railway signalling purposes; it does not necessarily mean that the box is not used for other purposes. Each link will take you to a page of photographs of each site; Grid References, ELRs, Builder and Frame details are shown, where known. Grid References and ELRs are 'best estimate' where it has not been possible to confirm. Quail/Trackmaps references are shown as Volume/Page Number & Section e.g. 2/33c.

The Author DOES NOT condone trespassing on any railway property.
